I read way too much non-fiction, which makes me think, but I am trying to reform. When I read fiction, I usually read pop bestsellers from the 'giants' such as Patterson, Baldacci, Grisham, Connelly, and their fellow mass-producers. It's mindless entertainment, which relaxes me. [If I need deep relaxation, I choose Dave Barry!]
I've been reading books, newspapers, and now magazines on my Amazon Kindle for about 3 years. If you're into content consumption, it's awesome. Content creation... not so much. Think of the Apple iPad that way... I'll give that a careful look when version 2 hits the market.
I share info on my latest reads on my LinkedIn Reading List...here's a link to the latest.
These have been among my other non-fiction titles:
how: Why How We Do Anything Means Everything...in Business (and in Life)
Small Giants : Companies That Choose to Be Great Instead of Big
Blue Ocean Strategy: How to Create Uncontested Market Space and Make
Competition Irrelevant
Seeing What's Next: Using Theories of Innovation to
Predict Industry Change
Confidence
: How Winning Streaks and Losing Streaks Begin and End
